Account and household data
Data & Privacy
Understand what the app stores, how optional Apple capabilities are used, and how to request or delete account data.
At a glance: Food Inventory Tracker does not include advertising SDKs and does not use household inventory for cross-app tracking.
What the app stores
Your signed-in profile
Sign in with Apple identifier, Firebase user identifier, display name, nickname, and default household reference support authentication and your profile.
Shared inventory data
Household names, membership, locations, item details, quantities, minimums, expiration dates, and activity stay associated with the household.
Features you choose to use
Camera scanning, Apple Reminders, approximate location for optional WeatherKit context, and Apple Watch synchronization use Apple system permissions. Barcode lookup may contact Open Food Facts with the barcode to retrieve public product information. Package-label text recognition runs on device and should be reviewed before saving.
User-initiated diagnostics
A Bug Report may attach recent app logs and relevant app, device, account, and household context only when you choose to send or share it. Feature requests and general support messages do not require diagnostics.
Your choices
Request account data
Email privacy@foodinventorytracker.app from the address you use for support and include the account identifier shown in the app when available.
Delete an account
Permanent account deletion can be initiated from inside the app. Active household ownership or membership must be resolved first so shared household information is not orphaned.
Ask a privacy question
Contact privacy@foodinventorytracker.app. Bug reports, feature requests, and general support are routed through the Support page. For complete details, read the Privacy Policy.
